I'm in. Doing the Rochester deal at least twice. At my age heated pits beat the crap outta
them cold arse ground blinds. Few years back I had some good December hunts with Phil
Schmidt but the way that young man hunted you could have froze to death.

I'll be trying to get on some fields as our regular season spots aren't the best in Dec...-10 degrees and snow is gonna push some birds out though

I will keep scouting as long as lakes are open around here. Don't think it'll be a whole lot longer though with the forecast projection. I need to focus on getting a doe in the freezer too before fishing and coyotes.

I'm going to give it try. Got the pits dug and lined them with old hay. Plenty of corn stubble to hide everything.
