Did you cut the goose's leg off before she got there in order to slide the ring on? If so, that might be why she is crying...it's kinda like chopping the head off of a kitten to put on a collar.

Haha no I had a piece of twine pre tied to the ring and then I had her throwing the guns and bags in the four wheeler trailer while I tied it to the leg and then called her over.

The only back up plan I had was to try again another day. Don't know how long I could have waited though. Luckily the geese cooperated well enough and she made the shots (2) count.

Only in Lamberton Mn does a guy propose in an alfalfa field then get a celebritory fly over from the geese. Congrats and may you have a long engagement cuz the one thing that stops sex is wedding cake!
