Turns out I have a friend who is good friends with this guy. He got a kick out of the "rescuers" making a big deal about linking arms to heroically pull him to safety... On the ice road, on two feet of ice, 200 yards from the crash site after he had belly crawled away from it. He tried calling the dog to the front to throw it out the window but was to scared to move from the back seat, that part sucks.
