Today I saw a newborn fawn (wobbly legged yet, but dry) with its mom cross my front lawn this early morning while I was having a cup of coffee. I figured it was born yesterday it was so small and all legs. I am kind of surprised as it headed towards houses with dogs VS staying in the grown over areas. Maybe a coyote was near by??? I watched for 10 minutes to see if anything was trailing them, nope.

This past week I have seen a fair number of newborn ducklings, mostly Woodies.

And it is what I has not seen hardly any of this year is bees. I have flowers blooming and no bees are around like in past years.

The teal in the pond out back have already migrated south.

I've seen more snappers than I can count this year, it's amazing.

Geese one with a rapala stuck in it's cheek, turtles laying, coyote, loons chasing baits, pair of yearling does swimming across the lake, sandhills and little ones with em, mamma pheasant and babies, mamma turkies and babies and some hood rats in walmart.

Poison ivy, fawns, skeeters, & rice getting to the surface

A Mallard hen with little ones, several Goose families, and young pheasants. It is all good!

Two wolves in the last couple weeks, more rabbits and birds of prey than usual, lots of turtles.

Seemed like grouse drumming was down this year in my area, and I haven't even seen a fawn yet. I see between 5 and 25 deer each morning on my way to work, but have yet to see a fawn. Also, no mallard families in my river this year, but one hen woody had over a dozen ducklings!

Have been noticing a lot of pheasants, maybe it was an easy winter. I can't really remember. Also a lot of turkey vultures.

Ton of pheasants, geese everywhere, quite a few velvet bucks that are looking good and almost smoked a fawn with my truck last night.
