Seen quite a few youth hunters out for youth fest #2 this morning,this split is making me more pissed by the day......so stupid....

They should just rename it youth slaughterfest part #3.

Really, that many kids are out terrorizing the skies suddenly on MEA weekend?

Found some fresh geese after this morning's goose egg in the south zone. Heading back out after a bit, money is on the a.m. though,, hope some wind stays around for the morning.

Gimp, I'm 30 minutes south of you. A few ducks around but nothing fresh. Hoping those geese are the advance guard.

The last time i hunted an mea thursday or friday it was a zoo and I was way west of the cities.

My dad ran into somebody down at the casino in red wing who just hunted the vaunted North Lake. He said is was slow and they only got a few. He did say though it was so crowded you could walk from boat to boat across the lake! The good old North Lake!
