I need to get a case of the Roger's or Knutson who ever has the Federal Red Box steel.

I switched from shooting Kent Fast Steel to Federal Red Box. Seems like much less crips with red box. Rogers has some great deals on cases and free shipping.

I couldn't justify shooting bismuth for that cost unless using one of my grandpa's old guns that don't like steel.

It will be too spendy for this guy! I usually watch rogers sporting goods deals on shells and go that route. The last sale on Remington Nitro steel price was $6.99 a box can't beat that.

True if using everyday by the average hunter. But for special occasions like taking out an old model 12 in 16 or 12 ga it is worth a box.

All I've shot for about 14 years is the federal red box, was happy Rogers brought them back even though they aren't at the blow out prices anymore.

I had a lot of bad experiences with Kent. Shells seem to love expanding when they see a little moisture. Had a buddy wedge one in the chamber and when he went to eject it it ripped the brass right off leaving the rest in the chamber. As mentioned above I have also noticed tons less cripples shooting the red box federal vs Kent.

I've shot Kent nearly exclusively since Federal panned the retail distribution of the red box and haven't had any issues. I don't doubt they exist, but I'm sitting at 5+ cases over the years and haven't seen it, and most of the guys I hunt with also use it.

Will be picking up a case of the red box from Rogers, tough. miss that stuff, will be interesting if it's a real memory or just nostalgia.

Oh right on I just got mine back late last week. Feels like free money even tho it’s really not. Man $7 a box tho, I’m not gonna feel bad dumping my extension on pigeons in the snow spread this spring.
