I was looking for a way to transport a marsh boat and a bunch of luggage, decoys, etc without losing everything out the tailgate so I came up with this.
The plywood is supported by totes allowing the boat to load and unload w/o shifting the luggage and also giving a level surface for the luggage.
Then I bought a $15 air-gate and zip tied it to half inch conduit. The bottom is a bunch of 5” pieces of half inch pvc zip tied to the air gate with a 42” bunjee cord running through the pvc.
Topper has a lift out door on the drivers side to access everything on top of the plywood.
This could be the ticket for Texas or Roseau Lake or anywhere in between where a guy doesn’t need much boat. I hate trailers.
