As of last week there were 367,000 workers made jobless by Walz's EO. That represents 13.54% of all workers in the state of MN.

As of yesterday, there were a total of 70 deaths from COVID-19. Median age of the deceased = 88. Age range of deceased = 56 to 100.

We can't afford to stay home any longer and continue to destroy our economy.

COVID-19 isn't even close to being a big enough threat to justify any of this.....

Still LOTS more death to come out of this virus and no end in sight. The sh!t IHME model that the federal government is in love with which predicted the peak number of deaths on April 11th and had predicted 0 deaths by June 1st has been wrong every step of the way for every country. Fortunately for them, they get to move the goalposts to cover their fukc-ups with each model run (April 13th peak and 0 deaths by June 4th currently). Big surprise that today had the most number of deaths yet in the US and they’ve already bumped their projections up 7K deaths by August 4th since the last run. By the way, the August figures are if we stay in our current state of lockdown through May.

Is all of this worth it? Not for me to say. Definitely a lot of oldsters passing away, but plenty of younger people too. It’s a friggin roll of the dice, and despite what people think, you literally have no idea how your body is going to react to this once infected. If it’s your spouse or child that ends up dying, my guess is you'd wish collectively we’d have done more.
