We never see em where I hunt so if I see one I am going to whambozzle that smiley SOB. I'm sure my dog will be happy for the spoonie treat.

Send my hunting partners out to Nodak and they will unintentionally shoot a pile of them guaranteed. Probably a handful of ruddies too.

Usually when I think I shot a spoonie it turns out to be a hen can....

A true dream hunt. Spoonies-the king of all ducks. I'm always up for a good spoonie hunt!!!

At my advanced age I use the shoot & identify method. I blast the SOB & when Elvis brings
him back I go "Huh a spoonbill" It's a great method except for those damn hen mallards. There
should be a rule in nature that a hen mallard isn't allowed to fly within 25 yards of other ducks
during the hunting season. That would make my huntin season a whole lot better.

I hope that SpoonBills like to fly in warm weather as all 3 weather sites say 80 for S Mn next weekend. :barf:
