This increasing sentiment in our society sickens me...that somehow this thug gang member who attempts armed robbery is the victim.
It's funny how you never hear this bullshyte when it's black-on-black crime or gang-on-gang. No one ever goes, "why couldn't you give him a second chance at life?"
It's like these dumb motherfuggers think that if you're a law abiding white male you have super powers. The comment makes it sound like the kid was going up against superman and it was totally up to him whether or not to crush him and he wasn't experiencing any sort of threat by having the kid pull a gun on him. Had the little punk pulled the trigger the bullet would have bounced right off him.
But to some people such as Jose Montez, who said he was Broadbent’s brother, he was a teen who needed guidance.
“Why did you have to shoot him?” Montez asked Monday as he visited the place where Broadbent died. “You couldn’t give him a second chance to live?”
