I'll be out, focusing on doves for now, but if I stumble upon some geese to jump I'll do it. Not bringing waders or goose decoys NW so it'll need to be something easy.

Nice work Gimp. I probably won't be chasing birds for a couple weeks, but it has nothing to do with the weather. Good luck to those getting out for early goose opener!

And this Sat is the early goose opener - here is the forecast for S Mn 70-75 for the low, 85-90 for high, dew point in the high 60s (sultry), the only saving grace is that there is to be a 10+ MPH S wind. Sunday it is to be stormy with similar temps. Monday winds shift to the NW and not as hot,

Imagine if we did have an early teal season and the Opener was this Sat.

Personally I have zero interest in hunting when it's like this for heat. But maybe someone like Hammer will invent a portable AC unit that fits into the blind and runs on a 12v battery system. :D

Good luck to all those heading out and don't forget the bug spray.

I will be outon the lake tubing with the kids. Plenty of ducks to kill in late october and november

Anyone ever read the book Dante's Inferno? True hell is cold, not hot.

Personally I'd rather sweat than freeze my balls off!

I'd rather freeze.

Getting the feeling my friends want to say screw opener. I would go, but I feel bad that I haven't helped my dad with the cabin remodel yet. If my friends don't want to hunt, probably go to the cabin tomorrow morning and come home in the evening, then hunt Sunday and Monday morning
