The only duck call you could buy was sold at local hardware store & made by Faulks

But man oh man 2 3/4" #5 lead was a killer load. You could reach out & touch em with those shells.

The only decoys I could afford were made by "Victor"-haven't seen one of those decoys in years

I remember when there was a point system for ducks. 100 points was the daily limit & hen
mallards were 90 points & drakes were 25 points. Since I haven't been able to identify a duck in
flight to this day, my dad chewed my butt a lot in those days. It went something like this" Jeezus
Christ you just killed 2 hen mallards. Now go sit by that tree & think about what you did & I don't
want to hear one word outta ya or I swear I'll wrap that 410 around your neck"

The old man really had his hands full back in the day as I was a killin machine :lol:

when you need to change chokes on your bolt action, clip fed 20 gauge you just twisted the end of your barrel.
