I'm in the opposite camp.....I don't get why hunters get off on genetic mutations. Pie-bald and albino deer, leucistic birds, blue phase diseased looking fish....don't get why that's what you want on your wall to look at.

I'm all about "Arian Race" shit when it comes to mounts.....only the strongest best representation of each species should go on the wall.

Like....why shoot a fukced up bird and then mount it? Why not mount a nice one you shot, that isn't all fukced up and shot to shit?

Only saying that last part because condition of the bird should supercede any sentimental value or "trophy status" when mounting a bird....or anything....but birds even more so than big game or fish

because its unique and rare. Who wants to be another arian boner with a another 4 curly tailed mallard on their wall. If i walked into a house and saw a bunch of typical ducks and there was 1 unique or a hybrid i am going to look at that first before i would even think about looking at another golden eye or another wood duck.

Not if it it's a good mount. Guarantee if the mounts are good your eye will go right to them.....even if they're wood ducks or goldeneyes.

Actually, both those types of ducks are rarely done well. Most of them are awful....very hard species of ducks to do well.
