I was meaning multiple broods times. Not on hen having multiple broods. I know a good deal of nests got flooded in central Mn with those heavy spring rains. After the rains I seen drakes chasing and knocking hens around again. Figured there was going to be some late hatches.

Do you ever catch them with a rod? Pretty cool they let people harvest them with nets. There's a whole different mentality about fishing up there. Kind of reminds me of nd.

Ya. We rod and reel them also. But flossing reds gets old because they aren't biting and your just snagging them. Now we will go for silvers and some more relaxing fishing like floating eggs and sitting in a chair waiting for a silver to take down the bobber.

Cool. My buddy is a guide on the Kenai and he is constantly sending me pics. I hope to make time to get up there next summer.
