Hate the cities too. Best I can do for now is live in wright county and drive wherever I have to for work. Most of the time into the cities. Not far enough out for me but gotta stay somewhat close for now

Those of you thinking there is decent trim of any abundance in Alaska are sadly mistaken. Kwack found the exception not the rule simply by finding a warm female body.

I went to college in Fairbanks for a while. There were two girls on campus that were under a deuce and didn't wear cargo shorts and Jesus jumpers 10 months per year...and they were both mine...one from OH and the other from Australia. Based on my experience, the few who didn't keep a permanent winter layer on all year were dirty hippies or natives who have a crazy permadrunk relative whose itchin to stab whitey.

My roommates said any hot high school chick there bolts to Arizona for college as soon as they graduate.

That said, probably a few hot biologists from the lower 48 drifting around the state. Have fun with the 200,000 other dudes sniffing around though.

Your description of Alaska is about spot on to my buddy's experience in Bemidji as a single guy in a professional capacity.

But he hunts or fishes everyday, so there's that.

They are around! Just stay out of the villages and you should be fine! Haven't spent much time in Fairbanks but I can't imagine it's anything special. The one I was lucky enough to find is actually from Delaware and I met her a week after she moved here

I found a nice set of Elk horns this weekend on Caribou WMA. I was hoping to find a shed or two while hunting woodcock but didn't expect to stumble on a full set.
