Sounds like you got medical treatment which is good. Cats are truly nasty and you have to get wounds disinfected if they bite or scratch you.

99% of the time rabies is transferred through bites/saliva. Far as I can tell it didn't bite me at all so I should be ok. I called the homeowner and she said it just had the rabies shot a month ago...should maybe make her send me proof of that but like I said pretty sure it didn't bite me at all so not too concerned.
I'm just happy one of those claws wasn't in my eyeball. Just makes you think how close it was to losing something you take for granted. Would have been my shooting eye. The thought of ripping that cat off my face with a claw in my eyeball makes me cringe
