What would be the perfect mn duck season? I guess I'd say it would start 60 days before the bulk of the ducks are gone.

It would take advantage of all the well known peak migrations. So a short season in early September for teal only. Then a couple week split. The finish off with 60 days straight starting sometime around October 1.

That sounds way too straight forward for MN.

We created the split so we could take advantage of the early migrating teal. It only makes sense to deny a teal season and keep the split instead of taking the teal season and doing a straight 60 day season..... :?

Never was about the teal. It was about the .001% of the hunters that think mallards only come through mn in December.

They should just make a mississippi river zone. because we could shoot them up by st cloud through Dec. even on early freeze up years like last year.
