It would take advantage of all the well known peak migrations. So a short season in early September for teal only. Then a couple week split. The finish off with 60 days straight starting sometime around October 1.

That sounds way too straight forward for MN.
We created the split so we could take advantage of the early migrating teal. It only makes sense to deny a teal season and keep the split instead of taking the teal season and doing a straight 60 day season.....
