Went and scouted for wi teal the other night. Didn't see squat but it felt good to get out looking for some fowl. Fall is definitely in the air lately. Getting close now.

I went out yesterday for a short boat ride in the backwaters and observed a lot of Blue Wing Teal. In one flock alone, I estimate that there was 25-30 birds, that most that I have ever seen together in a single group.

Those tasty Pelicans were in abundance too as well as a couple of groups of delicious Cormorants.

A couple migrating flocks of Canadas this weekend in Ottertail area. Also, geese moving at 3:15 a.m.

they just left the after bar?

I helped the decline of the monarch population this weekend. They need to fly a bit higher.....
