Given the current environment in professional sports I wanted to test your fan knowledge with a quiz I saw this week. Here is a list of crimes. Are the perps from the NFL or the NBA? 36 accused of spousal abuse. 7 arrested for fraud. 19 accused of writing bad checks. 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses. 3 have done jail time for assault. 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit. 14 arrested on drug related charges. 8 arrested for shoplifting. 21 currently are defendants in lawsuits. 84 arrested for drunk driving in the last year. He's donzo in with the Vikings. He's supposed to stay away from the team until the trial is over which isn't until 2015. He'll never play another snap with then Vikings.

Yep, his days in Purple are over..................

I dunno...hes an aging RB and way overpaid for the position...It'd be a bad move for another team to try and get him. But, if he is found not guilty and its not too much of a PR nightmare, the Vikings could most likely renegotiate the contract for a much lesser amount. Not saying I agree with him playing anymore, or agree with him being part of the Vikings...just saying from a financial standpoint he may be forced to stay in MN and take a much lower salary. They just did something similar with Chris Cook.

I wish the world would discuss the difference of giving the kid a whoopin' with a switch and giving a whoopin' so bad the kids nut sack was split open. The issue isn't using a switch, it's using it to the point a kid has to be checked in for medical attention. Seems the argument is used rather effectively in gun control arguments... it isn't the gun that kills, it's the jag off using it.

Or is that what the normal southern black whoopin' is? Beat until they bleed from multiple lash marks.... haven't heard Charles or any of the defenders talk about getting whooped until they bleed, just defending the switch.

He has played his last game as a Viking.

The NFL sucks.

The one thing that he has going for him is that he did not hide it and admitted that he did it.

There is a possibility that he pleas it down to a misdemeaner in the next month and returns to the team. If this happened, likley there would be probation, community service, parenting classes, etc involved. Perhaps even a few weekends in the pokey in the spring time.

I'm not defending his actions, but rather just being realistic of what a possible outcome may be.

Yo I hate when people's defense of the situations is "well that's just how they do it down south." Like really? Wanna talk about how else they used to do it down south?
