I thought Chuck had that covered?

Where or where is Walker when you need him to post up him modeling a camo speedo? I surely do miss is weekly presence this last 2 yrs... :(

I think many us are of the same thinking on that. Frankly it kind of surprises me that I have never heard of a duck hunter getting struck by lightening as the barrel was up and he was shooting.

The truth be known I am more like Rob is now days as he mentioned on page 1, I am kind of picky on the weather. I loathe heat and storms for hunting. 72 for a low Sat AM for S MN reminds me of sultry June mornings - ish! And a heat index of 94 Sat at 2PM. I may say screw it and stay home this weekend and work in my garage prepping for winter. I also then don't have to deal the the Barneys at the landing or sloughs either, so a bonus for me.
But another part of me wants to get into my truck tomorrow AM and head out and scout for potholes to hunt. But with the old dog, that weather forecast plain sucks! So I doubt I'll do it.

If you all like, I'll do a photo shoot wearing an assortment of speedos in various camo patterns and colors. Camo thongs are another possibility.

You need to do a fundraiser for each pose. We'd have to pony up $50 for each pose. We can call it "Chuck's Chicks Campaign" to offset his pheasant raising costs.

80 degrees at 10PM tonight, tomorrow will be the same, and likely for Sat too
Lows predicted of 74 for both Sat and Sun  Our average high is 68 for S Mn. this weekend.
But the rain chances have been reduced, basically 1 in 3 chance at any given time for the weekend

All I know is there so much humidity my concrete is wet without rain and my plastic fuel containers are sweating.

Well at least here in the metro they decreased the rain chances again down to 1 in 6 for the next 2 days. Now saying that, there have been thunderstorms SW, NW and NE of the metro all morning. but who knows what other parts of MN will be like - as it could be pouring rain in WIllmar or Brainerd all day long tomorrow...

But 90 today with a 73 dew point - freaking unheard of this late on Sept. High/mid 80s with high 60 to 70 dew point for Sat and Sun in the metro. F that chit for hunting. Back to the 60s by Tues for down here.

It makes me wonder how many ducks will spoil tomorrow with the heat. :(
I suggest a cooler with ice in it to throw the birds into right away to chill them down a bit to keep them from spoiling. Throw some ice cubes down the gutted bird to immediately chill them.

Edit - I just looked at Bemidji - high of 64 and rainy for Sat, and Tstorms most of Sun - which is substantially different than for the metro forecast. So guys do your due diligence where ever you are hunting and check the weather. http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weathe ... n=USMN0064
