Ringers are around, haven't seen many suicide flocks yet. More singles. A buddy busted a double on Reds, a double on Rings, then picked off 1BWT and a single ring Saturday morning, done in an hour in the fog, between Alex and Fergus.

I on the other hand really need to remember to wear my glasses, I don't think I've burned this much ammo since my first duck hunt.

Very nice can gimp! Wall worthy.

Ringers are down. Not in real impressive numbers yet but in two weeks they should be near peak. I'm hoping the bluebills and buffs show up this week so I can hunt closer to home.

Apparently The Cold Front has the hunters out. More than usual on the lake today.....

Oh, and birds are pushing even with a SE wind....

I seen 4 mallards all day yesterday but I was in a relatively dry area and think the birds are on the south side of the central line in the fields with standing water in them yet. Was surprised I never seen a can, ringer or red though.

This weekend should be good in the southern zone reopening Saturday. I think areas have received a ton of rain, maybe it will spread the birds out is my only fear. I'll find out.
