Franny was a different guy I think......best story about Franny was when he went hunting with that one guy ( I forget who but a pretty down to earth guy, seemed pretty cool) and Franny did the following:
- refused to put his gun on "safe"
- called the guy's GF a bitch, and she was with on the hunt
- starting calling the shots as he wished
- went back to the field and asked the landowner for permission

That was a great story, I'm sure there was more shit that went down but that's all I remember.

St Francis Duck hunter, who did he hunt with where he pissed off the guy who invited him along and never kept his safety on, didn't he also hunt with Al , Walker and Mister Lee at LQP a few years back.......kinda a truce between Franny and Al......Dam I miss Walker's wisdom on this site.....

I'm pretty sure that was hen_crippler (or something like that). I remember the post hunt rant, I thought he was making it up....until I realized he wasn't.

He has not visited here in for 6 months now...

I lost all my contacts in early Sept when my cell screen broke. A mutual friend was looking to get a hold of him a few weeks back and I didn't have his #.

I know that when Elvis passed, hunting for Rick last fall was not at all the same. I understand, as been there, done that... like many here have experienced, it's a tough 1 for anyone who looses a buddy.

Anyway, I sent Rick a PM, so perhaps he'll stop in.
