I doubt they restrict our seasons. They’ll probably keep telling everyone there will be record fall flights like they have been for how many years now.

If the prairies are dry ducks will keep going and bread in the boreal.

Hopefully the Dakotas dry up. Should push the migration East and MN might be decent hunting.

Nothing is better for MN waterfowl hunting than the Dakotas being dryer than a popcorn fart. Sure thirty and three limits you (if you abide by game laws) but what would you rather have.....half the season with half the bag limit but awesome hunting? Or twice the amount of days and bag limits but spotty to marginal migrations and hunting?

They can’t moderate the season when they’re not flying the surveys.

It’s been 25 years of 6&60... it’ll never change

2008 was really dry. 6&60

The thresholds for moderate or restrictive will never be met again.

They’ll say hunter harvest is irrelevant in the face of declining hunter numbers

It'll be interesting to see......would mean MN could have liberal seasons when the Dakotas are dry, which could make for some banner seasons.

Looking at how things have progressed over the past couple months.....

MN got wet and the Dakotas got dryer....shitty.

Most of Mn will be back into the yellow by mid May. Likely 1/3 of Mn will be in the tan by June 1st.

You can predict the future? I had an inch of rain in my guage this morning, slow steady rain fell over a decent part of southern MN from SW to NE. We shall see but it's been wet lately . . . . .and cold.

Fowler’s Almanac predicts drought.

It is written.

You have no idea how badly I hope that you're right. I'm rooting for you to be right and me to be wrong on this one all day long....
