As for the "crop" I (and I bet many others) thought you ran into some near your place in NW MN. They do grow hemp for rope in Canada, And many Americans are clueless that hemp used to be grown like that here in the US through the 1940s.

If there was a field like that say in NW Hennepin Cty, I bet that the urbanites would be swooping in to harvest it for other reasons not realizing the THC is less than 1%.

There's a field of it in McLeod county right off a main hwy. Organic even. No one has messed with it.

Haha she wasn't on this trip. My buddy and I hiked in 4 miles with camp on our backs. We got two caribou. Hiking them out on pack frames is not fun.
