Only problem is he decided it was time to go. 2nd time this year he's done it and both times it was when there was birds but nothing would come take a look.

Did get two bills and a goose right when stuff started to move then it was hours of high flying geese with no play.

Burned out one choke wrench and soaked in PB Blaster for weeks on end.... But finally got the tube removed from a SBE 1 my old man had since new in 2002.... and don't think he ever removed the tube from the day he got it.

Good thing is my Franchi has the same tubes. Better is the Franchi choke wrench is 5x what the Benelli wrench WAS!

Maybe Benelli could have crossed the street and asked Beretta for a decent wrench....

Gun #3 of his getting cleaned, prepped and ready to roll. Next up will be the Model 12....

Why yes, it is! I pulled the knot out gigging a decoy in the big blow before deer opener. The main line Tangled in the veg pretty bad, couldn't break it free, but I was holding the decoy by the head.

Thank God it warmed up. After that day I had pooled all the lines and blocks in the bottom of the boat.... But forgot to pull the plug. The water from rain/snow/and transom wash froze everything to the bottom. All clear now, but I was feeling a bit illl over 3 doz Herters 72 divers and 2 dozen G&H mallards spending the winter there.....

Honkers[/quote]I liked 2's better for geese. I 've dropped a few of my buddies flying cripples at legit 70-80 yards with 2's

Always wished I kept them boxes of b's for night hunting coyote.
