Ya some snow would help some. The area I have has thousands of both ducks and geese. Shot a limit both Friday and Sunday on honkers but the ducks are stale. I think the honkers are getting stale as well. With this crazy warm weather I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Checked a lake Saturday afternoon... I've never seen geese so comfortable. They were more chilaxed than geese on s golf course.

I am trying to get a duck hunt together for Thursday and Friday and boy I have called or emailed every DNR and fed office in the southern part of the state and they all sing the same note. There are very few ducks around if any they all state . The river reports I have gotten are beyond horrible. They are as bad as I have ever heard so that would be a bust.

I will get something figured out but if I get four ducks in two days I will be happy at this point!!

Lake Riley I'm Chanhassen was loaded yesterday. Ton of divers, mostly GoldenEye, and if my eyes didn't deceive me, a shat load of scoters.....

Seen two megansers today. First birds I've seen in two weeks.

Stopped at a park in Fergus for late lunch, 2:00 pm or so.

Watched 3 GoldenEye set into the flock on the water, guessing 30 birds.

That was cool.

Fergus is loaded with geese.
