Fergus has been loaded with geese for a couple weeks now! I wish they would get snow and it would be great hunting up there!

From what I saw yesterday afternoon, camo yourself as a 30' light pole in the Fleet Farm parking lot around 4:15 and you'll be set!

Good luck this weekend dudes. It's might be my last hunts for the 2017 season.

Yep, that is your best bet! Don't feel like sitting in a pit blind and watching thousands of geese just fly over. Its not looking too good for any measurable snow. Possibly Monday into Tuesday up there.

Was tempted to just find a "highest hill" and run traffic but ended up short on time.

Low flock came over fields South of Big Chief along 82 as I drive back to cities.

Also,, Huntable flocks SE of Fergus, on way to Alex.

5 of us hunted Sat, set up on a slough half mile from roost hoping to get them coming back from fields, never fired a shot, was quite amazed at the number of Mallards we seen, just in the wrong spot.....Geese never flew all day.....was a nice day to finish the season off anyways.....
This crowd has gone deadly silent... Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters Championship. It looks like a mirac- It's in the hole! It's in the hole!~ Carl Spackler
