^^^^Niiiiice! We found some up North or what we thought was it....one guy got worried it wasn't so no dice on eating it. I'm not very familiar with the woods up there so wasn't about to argue with the decision.

There is literally no look alike to chicken. There is two types of chicken though. One is your typical bracket mushroom that grows like shelves coming out of a tree with orange on top and the underside is yellow pores. The second is the one the grows at the base at the dirt level or where a root is poking out. This one grows in a roset pattern (like a flower) and is orange on top and has a white underside. The roset one has more bug resistance and is a touch sweeter.
