I thought all birds were gone from MN in November? We had more mallards in our field the last few days of goose hunting in December then we had in November.

I already named this one after my old border collie, now deceased.

The amount of fox in the area is insane....there's way more fox than deer. I just went and picked up a burger and fries takeout from the local establishment.....another place I used to bartend at, and I saw two foxes on the way there and three on the way back. It's a 3.5 mile drive and there's a good chance two of the three on the way back were me seeing the same two I saw on the way in twice, but nonetheless....when you're seeing a fox a mile and have them hanging outside the window in the middle of the day?

It seems like a lot of fox around....more than I've ever seen. They're beautiful too. All the ones I've seen are absolutely gorgeous.

I don't kill fox or cats any more. There's plenty of deer, squirrels, birds, mice, and everything else. I like seeing fox more than I like seeing game animals at this point in my life, quite frankly.

I've got a lot of extremely ruthless and sinful fox killing I'll most likely feel the need to atone for the rest of my life.
