That it does.....[sad face]

But this one doesn't [smiley face]. It wasn't within the last week, but I got it within the last week....my buddy texted it to me yesterday. Mille Lacs walleyes we caught during the Riots when every DNR CO was sent down to the cities. My buddy sucks taking pictures...there was two more at the bottom he cut off. Not bad for an hour of fishing. We did the same thing a couple nights in a row. He went home with twenty pounds of walleye filets for his wife and kids.

Did you see Ravens circling so as to why you investigated?

Surprised the coyotes, fox, or wolves were not eating it yet. Porcupine were at the antlers.

Any evidence of a gun shot or arrow wound to account for its demise? Or is it 100yds off the main road and died from trauma after being hit by vehicle?

Sometimes coyotes just don't eat stuff. I've found deer carcasses spread out 40 years all directions from coyotes, and found whole caracasess months later completely untouched.

I don't know if they are skittish because theyre so pressured, but I've had trail cams on gut piles and they run right by it. I also put a trail cam in my backyard on some squirrel carcasses, and a coyote spent 10 minutes circling the carcasses, pawing slowly closer and closer, until he finally snatched one and immediately ran off with it, didn't take a single bite of it at the spot. Fascinating to see.

I put a dead possum in the same spot and the coyote went by it. Instead another possum came up and ate some starlings I had there. A day later a bald eagle came down and spent 45 minutes pulling the possum apart guts first.

I saw it out the passenger window while driving somewhere with my mom. Five feet to the right of my right foot was Cedar Avenue North....

....the plow smoked it after a car smoked it. It had it's guts blown out it's ass, both femurs protruding out the wrong way....

But I got a decent new set of rattling antlers out of the deal after chopping it's head off quick with a chain saw. I had to be quick since it was right off the on ramp.
