Felt pretty lucky that my buddy and I were both able to get a marlin our first trip, especially considering we didn’t go at a great time for them. Already have plans to go back down when the blues and blacks around. Got my ass kicked by a striped, can’t imagine getting their bigger cousin that can get 4-5 times bigger. Should be lots of yellowfin tuna around then too and better wahoo and durado fishing.

....what did the trip set you back coin-wise?



Just wondering if this is something I might be able to pencil in for next winter....because Holy shit am I over it. Definitely want to break it up by going somewhere warm next year.
