its called a skate. rumor has it you can cut off the wings and make some fake scallops. didnt want to mess with it and threw it back. The make alot of weird noises when they are out of the water. their face and everything is super alien like. When they try to breath out of water its a mix between darth vader breathing and clicking sounds. ended up with 4 rock fish 8 reds and 1 40 pound halibut. Every time i cut up the first of the year halibut i forget how much meat is actually on those things. to be honest we probably only eat 2 40 pound halibut a year and most of that is either deep fried or made in to burgers.

That thing is wicked. Do they have a mouth like a sting ray, sturgeon or what? I don't think I'd want to clean one either.

I know her female cousin lives there and they try to do a girl's trip every year...the third cousin isn't very financially stable so vs going somewhere exotic they opted for going to Alaska again to save on expenses
