Nice shoots emptymag!

I ate some woodcock heart last night. There wasn’t any room for stuffing. I have been trying to eat the hearts from most of the birds I kill. Haven’t tried them on the smoker yet.

I'm sure it's great looks good just never been an organ guy. Dunno if I could get around it

I thought the same way until I tried it. Heart is amazing.

It's the only organ I have eaten. Haven't had liver, can't get over the fact of eating the bodies filter. But if some one cooked it for me I would try it. Medium rare heart has to be the most tender piece of meat on an animal.

The road kill list provides. We will make it through the winter. Little less pressure on shooting deer on our kodiak deer hunt in late October

Nice work mag! I talked my buddy in to shooting a doe for me this year so I already have my venison for the year.

Cleaning up the leaves was on the agenda this weekend. Doesn’t look like that’s happening.
