With the amount I see every year it should be six.

Minnesota.... we might elect zero... in the interest of the ducks.

I doubt that we will get 2 this year because their counts were down this spring. The Feds should be anouncing within the next week the season/limits framework.

The question with the Feeds is ~ Will they allow up to 2?

The states will implement their own rule. If 2, MN will choose 1. If Feds say 1, guessing MN is 50/50 on closing cans.

Sorry, but they've seemingly gone back to not shooting ducks again.

Watch wood ducks be one less than allowable also, and hen mallards, etc. They will keep the maximum allowable bluebill though, because of tradition.

If I remember right the feds offered a 6 bird bluebill limit a couple years ago when bills supposedly had a great production year and MN only allowed 3 or 4. I believe ND as well as some other states took the 6 bird limit option. The next year the survey was down and the feds reduced it again.

I have shot more bluebills over the last couple years than ringnecks. That is pretty unusual for the region I hunt.

Knowing the DNR and their infinite wisdom, the limit will be zero......They figure that most of us can't tell them apart from other ducks and may shoot a Teal instead. We know how much the DNR hates us shooting Teal

Maybe they'll keep it 2 because that's what Fouler remembers :-)
