In the fall, do you focus on hunting or fishing?

If the lower unit on my boat didn't crap out just before season I'd be fishing just as much as I'm hunting.

Fishing last weekend and again this weekend. Too nice for hunting but I will do a decent amount of hunting starting in November.

Only time I ever focus on fishing is during hard water. Even then i'll start shed hunting at the end of ice fishing season.

Water is the molecule H2O in its liquid state; by definition it cannot be hard because it is a liquid. H2O in its solid state ("hard") is called ice...is that what you're talking about?

Not a personal shot at you...I just got my outdoor news with the Gander "Hard Water" edition flyer...lots of guys use the term. I just think it's really gay and stupid. Kind of like calling a good shoot a 'grind.'

Hard water is an oxymoron.

People who say it are morons.
