Yeah...if this storm is nearly as bad as they have said, duck sesason will essentially be over for 80% of the duck hunters in MN.

The good news...the river will still be huntable from Wabasha south. AND, there's tons of ducks. Hopefully everyone still hunting can get in on the action!

My guess is the from the Chippewa to the lock and damn will be icebergs when the Chippewa lets loose.

Ortonville forcast for thursday nite...............Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around -6.

I doubt there will be much open water........
