It's going to be the standard turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes. Not going to be your normal T-Day for our families, both my wife and I lost our mothers over the summer expectantly. I may just spend the whole day in the swamp.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

I forgot the best part. Making a buttload of bacon wrapped teriyaki jalapeno duck poppers... wow, that's a mouthful.

Wife and I will be attending a black sheep thanksgiving this year hosted by my sister. Not sure what it means exactly, but it sounds like she's taking in anyone without family or plans.

This is also the first official holiday we'll be taking our three month old to, so I'm sure we have a few houses to stop at on the way home. My goal is to eat enough food that it'll take me through the weekend on a full stomach!

Anyone eager enough to get up early for the black friday deals?

I know the feeling as my Mom passed 22 months ago. I worked a 14 hour day last Thanksgiving being good weather (55 and big chill was to set in that night--and it did. Went the next day to my cousins for T-day. It was plain weird not spending a few hours with her...

Take plenty of photos!

I may go to Menards as I have an eye on something there.

3 month old aye! I've got a 15 month old so you are in the same place I was 1 yr ago.

I may go out on Friday. Need a nw laptop for school so that's my best bet for a really good deal.

How long before I get to sleep again?

Amazon is running some pretty good deals all week, check out this link for some good prices on laptops: http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=gb1h_tit_c- ... 1673798022

Not sure what you're looking for, but online is a good alternative if you can't beat the crowds!
