I'm all about peeps getting a second chance, taking their punishment, etc.... none of the legal/illegal stuff changes the fact the guy was a major DB. There would need to significant evidence he's been to DB reform school before that opinion is changed.

Well, I for one am glad to see a waterfowling icon back at it!! Especially after being thrown under the bus the way he was.
The man is a stone cold killer and has a place in my blind anytime.
Just amazing people have such negative feelings toward a person for breaking a couple rules which...anyone that is a remotely decent duck killer has broken a time or two.

My negative feelings are more about his actions rather than the person. I met Jeff several times and he seemed like a decent guy. However, IMO his actions were for personal financial gain, rather than the enjoyment of the hunt. His criminal convictions left a bad image of waterfowlers.
He will have a long way to go to regain the respect of other sportsmen.
