I work south of Olivia MN and I saw 500-700 geese migrating this afternoon. Hopefully with the better weather in southern MN they will hold up there for a while. Also I saw one flock of 50-70 geese had 8-10 ducks mixed into the flock. Dont recall ever seeing that before.

Yeah. It don't seem like a lot but for that area I have seen maybe 100 geese all fall. There really isn't anywhere for them to roost until you get to the river bottom or up by willmar both if which are 25 miles or so away.

A major migration tonight of honkers. 3 seperate very large flocks flying in the dark with the wind as I plowing and shoveling snow tonight.

Yeah was going to try and get out again but highs in single digits and lows aroung -10, plus snow on the ground, are gonna push a lot out. There will still be pockets but at those temps most of my late season roosts are gonna be froze up.

Was outside from 4-7 last night moving snow and it was constant honking. I'm sure it was during the day too but was in the office. I think it's safe to say my goose hunting is over for the year which is fine now that we have snow for coyotes and cold for ice.

Oh there is a spot for them near there. The pit north of Danube and beet plant hold em.
