I'm shocked by how many guys are willing to drive all the way too Red.

If you could see the dummies who can't catch a walleye on any other lake to save their life but can head up to Red and pull out limits you might not be so shocked.

I love the "high fives", facebook pics, and random celebration when one of these goons actually catches hisself a sandcarp!! Like they're some kinda trophy. I guess if you fish all summer and catch ten walleyes for the year...maybe they are.

Never understood how a state so deep in fishing/tradition can produce so many shitty anglers.

Will be interesting to see what lake is next after red?

It will be Mille lacs again. Then red again. Then Mille lacs again. And so on. The thing I find funny is guys thinking a decline will be permanent. The walleye fishing might suck for a few years, but not forever.

When Mille lacs or Red is going, a deaf, blind, limbless mute monkey could catch a limit.

We're also deep in waterfowl hunting tradition and yet we produce more terrible duck and goose hunters than anyone. They even got together and formed their own group to celebrate that tradition. Going as far as publishing a magazine, holding banquets, and having a camp to indoctrinate young and impressionable minds into their ranks.

The shitty walleye fisherman can't hold a candle to that!

Haha. Both are so true. What is even more amazing is WI is even worse.
