I got an e-mail from Sheldy and the Wannamingo Sportsman Club Swap Meet has been cancelled this year. They do plan on organizing one for next year.

I can't do one either this year on the farm, so we will have to wait until next year.

If someone else can host one, please step up.

Sounds good. If you are up for some mid-week Diver shooting, give me a call as well.

Being not familiar with the facilities, so not sure what is available, my idea is maybe a portable 5 man stand sporting clays shoot.

Our club is not set up for sporting clays. Wish we were because thats a great idea. Bring your own beer if you want.

I am thinking that a "dunk tank" with a couple of our own celebs would be interesting and/or Walker doing a " Drag Fashion" catwalk would be entertaining as well.

Maybe we could rent some equipment for a sporting clay shoot or someone may have some to share. An action for some items might be appealing, a "free" pile for unwanted items, or a donation of equipment items for some young, up and coming hunters would be good as well.

We have a long time to prepare for it and it should be fun!

I do believe that there are company's that have portable 5 stand set up. Not sure what fees are involved though, but I know they were around 10+ years ago when I used to shoot Sporting Clays.
