Unfortunately he was right this time..... I had 11", was supposed to get 4-6". The heaviest snow band was 50 miles NW of their prediction, Roch was to get 10+, they had 6.5" Bloomington had 12+" at 9:30 last night.

Well it was sketchy ice fishing due to the varied ice thicknesses. Have 14" in 1 hole and 30' over it was 7" thick on Waconia last week. I was out 2 days ago on another local lake, had 10-12" in most holes and then drilled a hole that was 8". No way am I driving a 3 ton truck out on that crap. And all the snow will act as insulation, so no more adding thickness to the ice. And to add insult to injury, I don't want to even think what it'd be like to try to pull a flip and gear weighing 90 lbs a 1/2 mile in 8 to 12" of snow and then deal with the slush on top of the ice due to the weight of the new snow. Uggghhh.
