Smoked halibut must be straight up epic.

It's good but not as good as salmon. It's a good way I found out to get rid of alot of last years stuff before we start fishing again. The big 100 pounders aren't real good eating unless ya deep fry them. The flakes are way too thick. Well, ditching my water heater tank project I found this for free on Craigslist. Didn't have a base and the guys wife apparently hated smoked food. $12 pipe to cut into legs a little time to clean...it's a $450 grill brand new. Amazes me what some people give away

My sister picked up a Weber for free off the side of the road. She put new guts in it for about $25. $500 grill at least. The thing is still running fine ten years later.

I'm sold on my Pitt Boss pellet grille, never to much to worry about.....

I took 4 goose breasts and am curing them now for 7-10 days in a brine and planning on smoking them this weekend, a guy gave me a recipe for goose breast Pastrami........he claims it's very good, we shell see......

Naw this will actually mainly be just my grill with light smoking...most of my smoking is in the file cabinet. I do have a small wood stove that someday will be my firebox for a walk in wood fired smoker but...that will be when I live somewhere less gay... hopefully in a few years

Fleet always has the best prices on chips by far normally but gonna go stock up at these prices....if anyone needs some. I got apple and oak aging in the garage but I'll pick up cherry and hickory as it's a little tougher to source
