From scratch pizza on the offset charcoal
So as part of my journey on feeling crappy. Finally figured out cooking oils are what triggers me. I thought it was just canola oil at first...cut that out and was at the bottom of my typical weight range...182 typically weigh 180-200. I still felt like crap sometimes though.
I ended up cutting out all cooking oil and within weeks went from 182 to 172.
And my appetite...oh man. Before I'd get so bloated eating meals I wouldn't want to eat. Now with dinner typically having 2 ears of corn, 2 potatoes and half lb to a lb of meat. Managed to recover back to 175 after weeks of eating like that.
But after cutting all this stuff outta my diet I'm slowly adding back in. It just mostly has to be from scratch as literally everything has cooking oil in it. Seasoning, bbq sauce, even my plant based protein that I thought was "healthy" that I took daily...had oil in it. Cleaned out the deep fryer yesterday and put lard in it instead of oil so could do wings. And the from scratch pizza so I could make sure was no oil in it... haven't had pizza forever.
Just feels amazing to finally figure this out. It just got to a point I realized how genuinely crappy I felt all the time. It impacted my energy levels to an extreme level...even my sleep and breathing.
And I guess it's yet to be seen but think it wore me out so much that's why I got these weird sicknesses like when I had to go to the hospital and get an IV in March
