The neighborhood ladies dig me, I'm authentic, rarely wear underwear, and don't own North Face.

Used Rust-Oleum Leak Seal. Also used Plasti Dip as a comparison. For rough work, go with Rust-Oleum. PlastiDip is more suited to finish work.

Didn't use flex seal, Rust-Oleum cheaper.

If I do it again I'll get the quart can and paint it on vs spray.

Vinegar and salt soak

Rinse, steel wool, wire brush

Dunk on solvent

Let air dry with solvent on to work into pours. The cast iron is heavy and solid, but sometimes "Pocky" since they didn't really worry about finish.

After that, ran through Denatured Alcohol to get solvent residue off. Let dry again. Painted.
