Where would one find a used electric water heater? I have instructions for how to build a wood burning stove out of one for the fish house. Now I just need to find the tank.

There is an old school dump in St. Paul, can't remember roads, but it's on the east side of the river kind of underneath the Roberts Street Bridge. Have found some decent diving in there.

Call a local plumber guy, also. If he gets paid disposal, and doesn't have to dispose, it's coin in his pocket.

You could search craigs list too. I see them in the free section occasionally.

I frequently take damaged ones out houses...and just give them to a guy to recycle. I will check behind the office today in our appliance section...if I have one you can just have it. Give me about 2 hours I was out on a job til 3 am haven't made it to the office yet. If you are close enough that is...I'm in NW metro. By damaged I mean smoke/fire damage.

I got one...let me know if you are interested as I'll have to make sure no one was saving it...it wasn't being stored in our typical area for junk appliances.

What size is it? I was hoping to find one around 30 gallon since it'll be going inside a fish house, but I'm not going to be too overly picky
