It seems like every year I miss the big push.

I just got the decoys all ready to go for South Dakota in a few weeks but I might as well put them away now. Maybe next year!

I heard spots in MT had 30"

The air today with the MW wind definitely was a bit cold - especially after those 90s 1.5 weeks ago. I had 45 this AM and it was the upper 50s in the shade wearing a sweat shirt today and I was shivering a few times

Nice to actually have Fall.

The trick now is to ease into winter and don't freeze everything the last week in freaking October.

^^^^ ding ding

Would love to have a slow freeze, when you get some early snow that is just wet and melts on roads and doesn't turn into a 3 day wind blown hazard.... then all melt and open up after 90% of the birds have blown out. Love when you get the wind blown slough that covers half over-ice with a spit of snow.

Heading north of 212 for a hunt in the morning. Somewhere I hunted a few times 10-12 years ago. Basically going blind. Hope I remember what ditch intersections to turn the boat into.
