Now in 25 count boxes.

I shot some last year in the 16ga. It worked well.

I may try some this year. 3in 1 3/8oz 4's should be a good load.

Nice. Not on the market yet, looks like it was announced at SHOT. Found an article that stated the median price on 25rds will be a range of $34-$45, guessing a 3" 12 gauge will come in right around $39.

Sales/rebates should bring price down.

If it's like Fasteel, will also depend on the retailer, but it seems few places stock the specialty loads.

This does lower the effective price per shell as the 10 Rd boxes were $17-$22.... So kind of like 5 shells free.

Explains the blow out clearance last fall on 10 Rd boxes....

It will be too spendy for this guy! I usually watch rogers sporting goods deals on shells and go that route. The last sale on Remington Nitro steel price was $6.99 a box can't beat that.

considering the economic climate of premium, non-toxic waterfowl loads, if it's indeed $40 per box for 3"-12, it seems fair.... there's time's when I shoot economy steel but there's also times I shoot a better load. $40 per box isn't all that much crazier than what some other loads are running. Find it on sale or rebates and it seems competitively priced with other loads.

I need to get a case of the Roger's or Knutson who ever has the Federal Red Box steel.

I have an O/U red label fixed M/I, so it can handle steel, but might be inclined to shoot this. The Model 12 I inherited will need this as it's fixed full. I've a possible SxS purchase if I can get the cash closed on it, that would need Bismuth for non-tox.

The "old" barrels people freak out about are able to handle the higher pressure loads, but not the hard shot like steel. Lead was the only option, and choke restrictions worked great with lead.
