Ford sucked the big one when I used to own two of their cars

It's really surprising how much fuel those little trucks eat same way with gm and dodge

It is, mine has the 4.0 with 4:10 gear ratio which isn't good for mileage, but one of my kids has a Ranger with the 3.0 and the other kid with a full size Chev with 5.3 eng. and that gets better mileage that both of our Rangers...............

Yeah 4.10 on that little truck makes no sense I have 3.73 in mine and I'm assume that's what's in the 5.3, it's a perfect gearing for a full size, I might swap to a little bigger for hauling stuff is the only reason

I concur. I had an s-10 zr2 and it didn't get any better mileage then my Silverado does. It was a beat off road though. Light and ground clearance.

My personal truck is a 2013 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior. Love my Toyotas. My current work truck is a 2013 Dodge 1500 decked out. It's ok but like my Toyota better.

'95 Chevy 1500 with 190,000. Not perfect looking but it gets me where I need to go and has never let me down.
