Apparently ya'll are going to get me locked up for your general lack of empathy towards feral cats. Congrats on whatever thread hit the top pages of google that provoked this message to the inbox

Feral cats are in fact protected under Minnesota Law. Animal welfare
statues 343.21 protect all cats. You cannot cause intentional harm to cats
in this state. In fact, feral cats must be safely live trapped and
transported to professional. The animals can then be professionally
assessed, vetted, released as part of a TVNR program or treated,
sterilized, socialized and adopted out. Feral cats, barn cats, strays and
domesticated cats are all protected under MN Law. These animals may be
humanely euthanized by a licensed veterinarian. Anyone causing intentional
harm can be charged with felony animal cruelty. You do not want to promote
or condone violating Minnesota Law.

For verification of the laws please contact animal welfare professionals,
